“Simplicity is the key to success”
Finework research and development teams have taken an approach based on simplification for the conceptualisation of the new 3D Finework adjustable armrests. The mission entrusted to them was to offer a simplified adjustable system for armrest, with the aim of optimising ergonomics and facilitating adjustments for users at the same time.
The result is a new adjustable armrest system on single ball joint with a lever clamping system. Our development sessions with final users have shown that the simplified system meets all their armrest adjustment needs.
The advantages of the new armrests are:
- A reduced number of components for simplified adjustment
- A system mounted on a single ball joint allowing a powerful tightening with little strength
- Maintenance-free design
- A limited risk of “wrong” adjustment thanks to an adjustment range specifically developed for watchmaking needs
